The Liberia Forest Sector Project (LFSP)
The (LFSP) was a multi-stakeholder initiative implemented by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), in partnership with EMG Consulting Group Ltd., with support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the Society for the Conservation of Nature of Liberia (SCNL), to strengthen the capacity of artisanal and small-scale miners to adopt Forest-Smart Mining practices that promote environmentally sustainable mining, forest conservation, and climate resilience in Liberia.
